We are a mission-driven company

On 26 June 2025, emeis's General Meeting of Shareholders approved the inclusion in the company's articles of association of four commitments reflecting its transformation into a mission-driven company. emeis thus reaffirms its commitment to addressing the human, territorial and environmental challenges facing the healthcare sector.

Our mission: the societal translation of our purpose

Over a period of three years, emeis has undergone a profound transformation that has put the improvement of care quality, renewed social dialogue, a human resources policy focused on health, safety, listening and recognition of teams, a recovery in economic performance and in-depth work on its values and identity back at the heart of the company's project.

At the root of this transformation is our raison d'être: "Together, let's stand as a strength for the vulnerable among us". This purpose drives our resolutely human-centred company and is embodied in the new emeis identity, which means "us" in ancient Greek. Our purpose has defined our CSR roadmap, Impacting Together, to ensure we are both compliant and exemplary in terms of social responsibility.

As a mission-driven company, emeis extends this commitment to truly "change the game" in the service of transforming the sector and contributing to a fairer, more humane and more sustainable society. This is a long-term commitment that emeis makes to its patients, residents, beneficiaries, teams, local communities and the planet.

The 4 commitments of our mission

These commitments were made in line with our ongoing work and our CSR approach and stem from the 3level of impact: "game changer".

  • We are committed to "working to change the way we look at the most vulnerable members of society and those close to them to ensure they are truly included". We support and care for people of all ages affected by all types of conditions. We have a real role to play in destigmatising vulnerability.
  • We want to "contribute to the fair recognition and attractiveness of our care professions". Our caregivers and support staff are our strength, and we must take action to ensure that their professions, skills and commitment are better recognised and valued.
  • We are committed to "making care for the most vulnerable a major contribution to local social cohesion." Our activities and our network make us a key player in the dynamics of the territories. We will work to forge even stronger and more impactful links around our establishments.
  • We are committed to "innovating to contribute to care that respects the planet and all living things" because our health also depends on the world around us.

These commitments, broken down into annual objectives, will be implemented by the Executive Management under the supervision of the Mission Committee.
